Request deletion of your data

Send a deletion request

1. Email info@pomsoft.net with the subject “Popameeting data deletion request”.
2. Include the email address associated with your account, if it has one, and your Popameeting display name. If you signed in with Facebook, say so. If your account has no email, describe your account so we can help identify it.
3. Tell us whether you want your whole account deleted or only data associated with Facebook sign-in.

We will respond to arrange verification of account ownership, explain any information we need, and confirm the outcome. Never send your password, Facebook access token, identity documents or verification codes with your initial request.

What happens to your information

After verifying your request, we will delete the requested personal information from active service records, subject to information we need to retain for legal, payment, fraud-prevention or security obligations. We will explain any applicable retention when responding. Backup copies may remain temporarily, and information already shared with event organizers or other users may remain in their records.

Removing Popameeting from Facebook’s Apps and Websites settings stops its Facebook connection. It does not by itself request deletion of records already stored by Popameeting; email us to request that deletion. Deleting Popameeting data does not delete your Facebook account.
